How is using so much wood considered low impact settlement. Hundreds of trees for a few people. Now make that 7 billion people using this kind of wood consumption. Your intentions are good, but this way of living is encouraging even more deforestation. We should be exploring alternatives to wood. Industrial hemp is a good example. Could be plenty more solutions out there.

There are lots of solutions to avoid deforestation, we leave an environment to the ones that comes after us, not the same like the one door knobs left for us, unfortunately.
